Introduction

I am inviting you to take the time
to read these words that are joined in rhyme.
They’ve come together, for better, not worse;
Morals and messages married to verse.
Written for you, and also for me,
is this book of pictures and poetry.
I am not an author who can claim
that my life and my writing are one; the same.
Moments in time of elevated height
are the inspiration for what I write.
Metamorphosis, from beginning to end,
is intended to be an uplifting friend.
