If I Were GOD
and Visiting Earth

If I were God just paying a call
to this world where we all live,
I would spread the word to each and all,
“It’s LOVE we are meant to give.”

I would walk Earth’s meadows and mountains,
Climbing hills for greater height.
I would rejoice in flowing fountains
that are sparkling in the light.

I’d follow flowery meadow brooks
in search of joyous living,
I would look in all of nature’s nooks
to learn the art of giving.

I would commune with every day,
bask in the warmth of the sun,
I would inspire my spirit to play
and take pleasure in nature’s fun!

I’d lovingly feed some furry friend;
I’d share my ample supply.
Look up at a blue that doesn’t end
to feel a natural high.

I would fly while in a river’s flow...
I’d dance with the butterflies...
I would rise up with the trees that grow...
Soar with the birds of the skies.

I would cast my gaze into love’s eyes,
I’d heal with a touch or kiss.
I’d follow the path of Truth that lies
from here to eternal bliss.

A rainbow of color, I would see.
My steps would be towards ‘the light’.
And with thoughts to lift humanity,
As God, I would do ‘what’s right!’

If I were God and visiting Earth,
I’d ask you to be like me.
I’d inspire in you your highest worth,
I would set your God-self free.
