Someone New

I long for one, with whom, I'll be 'Someone New'.
Someone to climb with to reach a higher view.
A friend; not focused on, nor blind to, my wrongs
With whom, my harsh words will change to sweet songs.

A clean slate; who knows not what I've portrayed
With whom, I can be-in-love, unafraid
to rise out of the less than Godly me
to that higher self this 'someone new' will see.

'I want to love someone new' my heart pleads.
This is the summit of all my soul's needs.
'Someone new' to entwine with and soar above
the many distractions from BEING IN LOVE.
