The Sun is certainly ‘The Star of the Show',
Yet, it goes unnoticed by most, even though,
without it, nothing, including us, could grow.
I look forward to when the day has begun,
to invite the delicious warmth of the sun
inside of me, where we become as one.
It's a safe attachment, a world to
explore
Bathing in its light is what I most adore
The sun's light forever leaves me wanting more.
Sunshine cheers us and it inspires
us to play
The sun takes away darkness and gives us day
Its light is the deity to which I pray.
It widens our scope and quiets the
ego
It lifts our thoughts to the highest they can go
When it sets, it leaves behind colors aglow.
Watching the sunrise or sunset, we
can be
enlightened by its golden reality.
The sun’s rays are like God’s arms reaching to me.
Too much, I'm sidetracked by the
mundane, I'd say,
and therefore, forgetting that I'm on my way
home to the Holy Land, The Sun, someday.
