Look at the Light
I was reminded of an age-old belief when glancing at the light cast upon one leaf. A river’s pool turns to a translucent sight, It instills gratitude for the touch of light. Look at the light twinkling like stars on the lawn. Behold the light outlining a forest fawn. Watch it filter through a native stand of trees, shining from blue skies, glistening on seas. On a silver stream, the light blends with the flow. It transforms itself into a bright rainbow. Look at the light keeping the darkness away. Gaze at it when it welcomes and ends each day. The annals of Time, tell of humans whose sight was enlightened for they would ‘look at the light’. |
