Animals and people were meant to share this Earth.
The other species have their own genuine worth.
Human hearts leap with joy, watching a deer roam,
bringing graceful movement to its forested home.
We feel child-like when following a butterfly.
We are called upward by birds that soar in the sky.
We witness magic when creatures camouflage their coat.
We are awe-struck by enormous mammals that float.
The metamorphosis process is so inspiring.
Those who build mass by eating grass is worth admiring.
But, those who have been exploited in their lifespan
cry out for the end of their domination by man.
People enslave them, beat them, then eat them too —
People’s perceptions of animals are simply untrue.
How can the highest spiritual realms be achieved…
until one has seen the animal’s plight and grieved?
The ‘non-violence’ movement is gaining strength with time…
while exposing ‘animal mistreatment’ as a crime.
The human race can change its non-empathetic ways.
We must strive for ‘ANIMAL RIGHTS’ in the coming days.
